Our server Brett was great! Having never been to Oak, we were not sure what to expect and not having knowledge of many of the menu items, Brett was patient and through with his explanations of the menu. The pizzas were amazing. I played it safe with the New Yorker and my wife had the Zucci. Both had amazing flavor. We also tried the Italian craft soda, orange mint. It was a delightful combination that was very refreshing. We are not a fan of the bar taking up so much of the entry. It was be nice if it were moved to the back. Other than that, this was a really nice spot in downtown Hanover.
Had dinner at OAK last night and it was one of the best meals we’ve had in a long time! Everything was delicious, fresh, just beautifully done. Service was the exact right level of attentive, professional, friendly and welcoming. And the atmosphere was cool but chill. We will be back often!

Hanovers Slice of heaven has arrived! It just keeps getting better! The flavor profiles used in each craft cocktail is well thought out and compliments the menu. Service is attentive and atmosphere is upbeat and friendly. Restaurant is clean and easy to navigate. Excited to see and taste all new menu items!
We went on a Tuesday and we were lucky enough to get a seat at the bar. We found out that reservation are a must for this place. Even on a Tuesday, OAK got busy. The hostest was nice and allowed us to get a bar seat. Signature drinks were awesome and the bartenders were on their game. Very friendly staff and they took the time to explain some of the drinks in more detail. They know their stuff and have an abundance of interesting cocktails. Appetizers were delish and not what you normally expect as apps.. It was early, so pizza was pretty much it. At $25 for 2 craft pizzas, it is well worth it. Including food and 4 drinks, we hit just about $100 with tip. Definitly a place for a date night, friend meet or a family time out.
My wife and I had the pleasure of eating here on valentines day. We had an amazing experience! Everything from the cocktails to the pacing of the meal to the excellent service we recieved at the bar were perfect. I had a steak and my wife had the squash ravioli, both were delicious.
A near perfect Neapolitan style Pizza. Their classic Margherita is not always on the menu, but it's always available. The crust has the perfect balance of crunch and chewiness. The sauce is light with a touch of garlic and the cheese is amazing. You'd have to travel to New York to find one like this. We got the Margherita pizza and a specialty pizza. We also got the meatballs and stuffed oysters. Everything was delicious.
In my opinion, this is the best restaurant in Hanover. The ambiance, homemade pizza and pasta, and thoughtfully crafted cocktails make it truly special. The pricing is surprisingly reasonable, and the cozy setting works just as well for a quiet seat at the bar as it does for gathering with friends.
OAK Artisan Cookary is a true gem! From the moment we walked in, the hostess greeted us with warmth and professionalism that set the tone for an exceptional experience. Our server, Carla, was outstanding—friendly, attentive, and genuinely passionate about making sure we had a great time. And the pizza? Absolutely phenomenal. Every bite was a perfect balance of fresh ingredients, artisan craftsmanship, and bold flavor. You can taste the care in every slice. Between the incredible food and top-tier service, OAK Artisan Cookary delivers a dining experience that’s hard to beat. Highly recommended for anyone who loves great pizza and even better hospitality!
I had a lovely meal here for Mother's Day. The restaurant has a very clean but rustic aesthetic and I love tht the wood fire grill is open for all to see while the chefs prepare food. The food was absolutely delicious and our bartender/server Clare gave us some excellent recommendations. This place also makes my favorite old fashioned cocktail I've ever had. I'll definitely be returning here in the future.
